Drs. Scott and Ryan Bennion provide comprehensive eye examinations including:
- complete eye health evaluation
- testing for glaucoma and cataracts
- monitoring for high risk conditions resulting from diabetes, high blood pressure, multiple sclerosis, or high risk medications
We do testing for glasses, contact lenses, reading and classroom difficulties, computer fatigue, vision training options, and sports related needs.
The American Optometric Association recommends a child’s first evaluation at age 6 months. (We provide this service free of charge through the InfantSee program.)
Other eye exams are recommended at age 3, before starting school, and every 1-2 years after that unless otherwise recommended by your eye doctor.
Life is better when you can see it clearly. Let us help you continue to see your best for the rest of your life.

Vision Training
Many vision problems can be corrected by means of eye exercises called vision training. Some of these conditions include crossing eyes, poor tracking ability, focusing problems, learning disorders related to vision, and others.
Many of these can be worked on at home with periodic supervision by Drs. Bennion, saving you thousands of dollars over the course of the program.
We offer the latest in computer based vision therapy, making the task of improving your eyes more enjoyable to school age children.
Ask us about Vision Training options when you come in for your eye examination!

Refractive Surgery
Refractive surgery is here to stay. There are now many conditions that warrant considering surgery as an alternative.
By consulting with Doctor Scott or Ryan Bennion on these procedures you can get an unbiased view of your options and can be assured that you are not being pressured into a decision. We would only recommend surgery if it was in your best interest, not our financial interest as we do not perform the surgery.
The most common vision problems which lend themselves to refractive surgery are: nearsightedness (blurred vision at far) and astigmatism.
If you are considering Lasik or other refractive surgery options, let us know and we will evaluate your options as we perform your comprehensive eye examination. We have seen results from many surgeons and we are willing to share our recommendations.
